ORIGINAL: Winston was purchased by the U.S. Customs Service as a passive a Drug Detection Dog. Winston was quick to learn the necessary odors, but his exuberance over the find got him kicked out of doggy drug school. When he found the package, he ripped it apart! The correct response was to sit pretty and wait for the reward. Winston was released from the program after six weeks and placed on give away row.
Winston was adopted by a family and has lived with them for the past year. His owner is pregnant and can no longer care for him. He is crated for sixteen hours a day and kept in the basement. She feels that she cannot provide Winston with the time and attention that he deserves.
Winston is good with kids and dogs. It is unknown how he is with cats. He loves to play ball, but does not like to drop it. Winston absolutely loves to swim. He will over do it on occasions. Winston climbed a stone wall once, but only went to the front door to get to his human friends. He has not climbed a fence.
Winston would love to have a family to call his own. Would you please give this Customs flunky a home?
