Original: Willie was one of three littermates who were not wanted by their owner and were left at a shelter in West Virginia. MAESSR then took them into its care.
Willie and his brother Troy had the very deadly disease parvovirus, a major infectious disease that puppies should be vaccinated against. Obviously, their original owner had not had them vaccinated. Both were taken to a veterinary critical care hospital by their foster family, but Willie did not make it and passed to the Rainbow Bridge. A special sweet angel is taking care of this little one who is healthy and playing there now. Give your pups a special hug tonight.
