Tucker came back to MAESSR because there were squabbles between him and the other male springer in their home. It was not clear who was starting the disagreements but it was felt, that for everyone’s safety, Tucker should have the opportunity to settle in another home..
Back with the same foster family he started with in 2009, Tucker is as wonderful (or maybe better!) than he was the first time he came to rescue. He is such a sweetie and loves attention. He has gotten along very well with all of the dogs in his foster home. Tucker is always ready for an outing; all you have to do is say, ”Let’s go, Tucker!” He has good house manners. He does get on furniture and will counter surf if given an opportunity, but what self-respecting Springer won’t………:))?
This boy is a keeper and is almost ready for outings with a new family. If you love taking your dog with you when you leave home, ask to meet Tucker. Chances are he’ll hop right in with you……….into your car, your home, your heart!!

Tucker was given to his last owner when the previous owner got pregnant. This Mountaineer from West Virginia had moved three times with the relinquishing family. Due to financial issues, they relinquished Tucker to MAESSR.
Tucker is a FUN, loving, young boy who is doing his best to win the fastest wiggle butt award in MAESSR land! He has the sweetest smile and personality. Tucker will need some obedience training so that he can be the wonderful companion he would like to be. Tucker will pull on a leash, but he does ride well in the car. He is both housetrained and crate trained, and will counter-surf in a second! This boy also likes to cuddle and watch TV.
Tucker is going to be an exuberant member of some lucky family. Would you like to play with Tucker?
