Tootsie the Cocker Spaniel came from a puppy mill in Pennsylvania, so her transition to a MAESSR pup and living in a home has been quite a change for her. As with other dogs from her situation, everything is new to Tootsie. For example, she is afraid to go through a doorway alone. Living in a home is a new life experience! Tootsie likes the affection she is now receiving but still is a bit standoffish. While she enjoys the attention, she is still a little tense. Time should help her understand that she’s living the life she should have lived!
Toys are likely new to Tootsie, and she has no favorites…yet. She is good in the house, obviously realizing that this is a great way to live. She is good with the resident cats. She’s also a good passenger in the car.
Tootsie was spayed at the vet. She was found to be Lyme positive and is now up to date on her vaccinations. While her ears need regular cleaning, Tootsie doesn’t mind having it done.
Tootsie’s foster mom says that she is “a doll” and cannot find anything negative to say about her. Consider adding this sweet little girl to your household. She would love to spend her golden years experiencing the good life with her own family. Tootsie so deserves it!
