Original: Due to some very unfortunate events in his previous mom’s life, TJ came into MAESSR’s care. He is a wonderful boy and a perfect house guest. His only “fault” is that he will counter surf if given the opportunity. TJ is perfectly housebroken, he will get on furniture, and he loves to sleep in the human bed. He definitely appreciates the finer points of living close to his people. Although riding in the car is something TJ loves, his favorite activity in the entire world is playing with his tennis ball. TJ loves to play ball and will catch it in the air and bring it back.
TJ is not much of a barker, doesn’t chew, dig, or jump the fence. Out of excitement, he will jump on people when greeting them. He has had no formal obedience but knows “sit”, “stay”, and “come.” He walks well on the leash. He was crate trained as a puppy but hasn’t used a crate in a very long time. He is good at the groomer and lets you brush his teeth and clean his ears. Thunderstorms make him a little nervous, but then, he just wants to sit on your lap. He is free fed and will pick at his food. Currently, he is suffering from seasonal allergies and is on an antihistamine and an antibiotic.
This is one SWEET boy who would love to be yours. He’ll play with you by day, cuddle with you when it rains, and keep your bed warm if allowed. What more could you be looking for in a 4 footed companion?
