Original: “Are you looking for a quiet, right-hand man to navigate through life with?”
Tip was surrendered to a rural shelter in Kentucky by a family who could no longer care for him. He had been running loose on 200 acres his two short years and was both heartworm positive and knew nothing about living in a home. Despite these hurdles, every volunteer who interacted with him was immediately taken by his soft, gentle, quiet nature. He is truly an old soul in a young body.
During his time in foster care he’s learned about in-home living, soft beds, stairs, vacuum cleaners, and walks in the park. He continues to be an exceptionally mellow and easy boy who is content to lay by your feet until it’s time to do something. He enjoys his time in the back yard watching the birds and making sure no small furries get too close to his part of the world. He meets new people calmly and is reserved in new situations.
His heartworm treatment is complete and he’s learned the skills he needs to live happily in a home setting.
Are you looking for a quiet, right-hand man to navigate through life with? A dog by your side who doesn’t demand your attention but instead offers his companionship?
