Original: Stosh’s owner has a 2 y.o. son, and another 4 y.o. male ESS. The owner’s husband is in the army and was recently deployed. Shortly after he left, Stosh (who is an Alpha dog), started attacking the 4 y.o. ESS. Until this time, he had never exhibited any such behavior. Stosh is absolutely fine with her 2 y.o. son, but she is afraid that he might get hurt if the dogs start fighting. It sounds like Stosh thinks he’s the new head of household now that the husband isn’t there. She is keeping them in separate rooms right now, but wants to rehome Stosh. She has tried and continues to try to find a home for him on her own as well. She originally adopted Stosh from the SPCA in Wilkes Barre about 8 years ago.
Stosh would be a great dog if he was the ony dog in the household. He is great with people.
Stosh’s “grandfather” has agreed to take him in — a happy ending for all.
