Stewie’s original family was an older couple from New York. They found him to be too high energy for them, so they found him a home with someone else. Unfortunately that did not work out. Stewie nipped the new owner’s finger when he was being scolded for going potty in the house. MAESSR was contacted and asked if we could possibly help with this sweet boy.
During Stewie’s long transport to his foster home, he had people falling in love with him every step of the way. He is definitely a charmer and he loves to ride in the car!
Housetrained, Stewie has had no accidents in his foster home. He is also crate trained. This sweet guy has good house manners and does not counter-surf. He really wants to please his people.
In his enthusiasm for walking, Stewie does pull some on the leash but he really enjoys going on long walks in the park. Stewie knows “sit,” “down,” and “paw,” and he is working on “stay” with his foster mom. His desire to please is a boon for training!
