Original: Spook came to MAESSR when his Tennessee family was moving and could not take him along. He has adapted very quickly to his foster family, and they are evaluating him to see what the best forever home for him would be.
There are some things that are very obvious about Spook. One is that he LOVES to ride in the car. He will go anywhere with his foster parents at any time! When Spook is on a walk, he pulls a little on the leash but he is responsive to several commands. He is housetrained and has excellent house manners. Although he does like to sleep in the bed with his foster parents, Spook is also content to sleep in the floor beside them.

Update 09/23/09: Early and obvious things about Spook were encouraging when his assessment began. Sadly, though, as his foster family and other volunteers continued to observe and evaluate his emerging personality, it became apparent that he would not be suitable for placement with an adopting family.
