Original: Spencer is an exceptional field bred Springer looking for a home. He is a high energy boy and will need to run. He will also need obedience training. Spencer is quick to accept others including other dogs, he welcomed our volunteer’s dog quite easily. He also did well with the family’s child.
Spencer, is a very good Springer that just is not right for the family at this time. The family has had Springers before, used for hunting and companionship. They say Spencer is too “hyper” for them and cannot stay in the house because they are remodeling their home. The owners say he “barks” when left outside alone.
We have heard from Spencer’s owners and they are still interested in placing him. He has been heartworm tested and is negative. He’s ready to go to his forever home.
When faced with the reality of placing Spencer his family couldn’t do it. They have decided to keep him. We wish them the best of luck.
