Sparky is a field bred Springer who has resided in an outside kennel in Virginia most of her life. Her previous owner is relocating to South Carolina and needed to re-home Sparky and her kennel mate Katie 7 MAESSR was contacted and now these two fieldie girls are ready to find wonderful new homes.
A very mellow girl, Sparky does not have an aggressive bone in her body. She has been exposed to cats and gets along well with them. When it comes to wild critters like birds and rabbits, Sparky is more than willing to give them some exercise. She knows that there is a clause in her contract about chasing wild things.
Housetrained and crate trained, Sparky will go into her crate on the command “kennel up.” She was taught to sit by the command “hup” and she is a dream on a leash as she heels beside her person. There are no anxiety issues with her and she is not afraid of thunderstorms. Katie rides well in the car, too, and does not get car sick. When her foster parents are at work, Sparky is given free roam in the house with no problem.
This well-mannered sweetie is also a love bug. Sparky just wants to cuddle with you and be with you. With her sweet and loving personality, Sparky will be a great girl for some lucky family.
