Update 03/09/10:
Snoopy and his littermate, Sput, are sharing a foster family and their home. Together these two are little darlings, full of vinegar and spice! Snoopy is an adorable and sweet little guy who loves to snuggle with you. He’s going to get too big to be a lap dog but don’t tell him that. The closer he can be to you the better. He aims to please at all times.
He is great with other dogs and all adults and children as young as 10. He has not been with any younger kids as of yet. Snoopy loves to ride in the car and go outside to explore the back yard. He is not totally housebroken but is doing fairly well. He crates with no problem. Both pups seem fairly intelligent so basic obedience training has begun. Snoopy knows the “sit” command and is working on “stay.” Leash work is started and a work in progress at this age.
Snoopy is funny as only puppies can be. He is still trying to figure out why the puppies in the full length bathroom mirror won’t respond to him. He’s affectionate, lovable and a total sweetheart. Check back for more on his progress!

It’s raining puppies at MAESSR! In addition to the previous litter of six from South Carolina, there are five little Springer brothers from Virginia who are looking for homes! Talk about cute little wiggle butts full of love and fun!
The concern of a good Samaritan started them on the road to becoming MAESSR pups. When she found nine puppies eating a deer carcass, she kept one of them, found homes for three others, and took the remaining five little boys to a local Virginia shelter. The shelter contacted MAESSR for help in their placement.
At approximately 10-12 weeks old, each puppy is ADORABLE beyond words. More news will come as unique personalities emerge and each puppy makes progress. Soon they will be ready for loving families who will take them to obedience classes, be their new playmates and soon their very best friends. Check back soon! This won’t take long!
