Skipper’s owner passed away in January, and he was being cared for by friends and neighbors until he came into rescue. He is a gentle giant of 71 pounds and could stand to lose 15 pounds. Skipper likes other dogs and children but will eat the cat if he were allowed so he should not go to a home with CATS! He had some bad experiences at the vet and groomer (both located in the same building) so he has to be muzzled during examination and grooming. Once the exam & bathing are done and the muzzle removed he gives big springer kisses to all and wags his tail for a treat. He walks well on the leash and rides great in the car.
