Sitka is a really sweet dog. Her “dad” is in the military and the family purchased her while stationed in Sitka, Alaska. They have taken her with them on every move. However, this time, they are renting a place that doesn’t take dogs, so Sitka needs a new home. She is good with cats, dogs, kids, the elderly. She really loves everyone. She met one of our volunteers and her dog and was just too pleased to have more company to play with.
Sitka is a chow hound. She would eat around the clock if allowed. Her one bad trait is that she knows how to open the refrigerator. She will bring her bowl on command, though.
Generally, Sitka is a just a great dog looking for a loving home.
UPDATE:
Sitka was adopted Memorial Day Weekend. Her new family is thrilled to have her.
