This is a space holder for Sir William who will be coming into rescue, hopefully this weekend. He was abandoned at a vet’s office. He has been there for months living with his best friend, a greyhound. Greyhound rescue is taking her and we will be taking William. As much as we would love to keep them together, we aren’t able to do so. We will be looking to place this great boy in a home with another friendly dog who may help him get over missing his buddy.

Willie is home, and seems to be doing well so far, considering Urza the Mountain Menace barely gives him a break. He seems less interested in the cats than the birds, (which immediately caught his attention), though the puppy doesn’t give him much of a chance to check them out before she tries herding him downstairs to play. They should both sleep well tonight. As will we! Tomorrow we should know more, but it doesn’t look like it will become a problem.
He’s only been here a few hours, and already Willie loves to lie at Drew’s feet and looks like he’s been there all his life. I think this will work out very well, once the dust settles. I don’t have much doubt Willie will remain at Drew’s feet for the rest of his life. He’s already wriggled his way into our hearts.
