Satchel is a wonderful boy that loves to give kisses and to play ball. He is a major cuddler who really likes being with his people. For some unknown reason, he was turned in to a shelter in Pennsylvania. MAESSR was contacted about this sweetie and several MAESSR volunteers rushed to get him to safety quickly.
Satchel rides well in the car, whining at first, but settling down quickly. He has fantastic house manners and is totally housebroken. He does like to get on the furniture and prefers to sleep in the bed with you. Satchel has had some training because he knows sit, down, and stay. He is great on a leash and rides well in the car. Satchel can be crated, but really does not like to be crated. His foster parents have discovered that Satchel can jump a four foot fence. He does not jump the fence to get away; he jumps the fence to be with you! He also enjoys being with other dogs and gets anxious without one. So, Satchel should be placed in a forever home that already has a dog companion for him.
Are you ready to “play ball” with Satchel?
