Original: “Sally has played quite nicely with other dogs and always shares her toys with whoever will play.”
Sally and her buddy, Seamus, came to MAESSR from Tennessee when their family was having financial difficulties and did not feel they could properly care for them. The family was extremely upset to let these two wonderful sweethearts go. They play fetch and are joyful dogs.
This beautiful girl knows some basic commands like “sit.” She is not one to jump when she greets you, as she is very well mannered but she absolutely loves attention. Her new family will need to help this girl understand suburban living as she had previously been kept on a farm with much room to roam and swim. Because of this, Sally needs some training when it comes to walking on a leash.
On the positive side, she is completely housetrained and has shown wonderful inside manners. She is crate trained and seems to enjoy her crate. Car riding is easy and fun with this girl. When her foster mother goes to work, Sally has had free roam to the whole house. Everything is as it should be when her foster parents arrive back home. At night she has been quietly sleeping on a rug beside her foster parents’ bed.
Sally has played quite nicely with other dogs and always shares her toys with whoever will play. Additionally she has done great with the resident cat. This lovely girl is willing to share her water or food with the resident fosters.
If you think Sally may fit your family, be sure not to pass this sweet girl up. She would do well in just about any loving home. This is one true sweetheart of a springer girl.
