Sabrina is a field bred springer, being mostly white with liver spots. She was found as a stray in the Allegheny Forest in western Pennsylvania. Before coming to her foster home, she was sheltered in a home with two other dogs. A neighbor who walked her a few times a day also brought Sabrina into her house. There were two cats there and Sabrina did not bother them. She has limited vision in her left eye although it doesn’t seem to impact her daily life.
Sabrina is a calm and sweet dog. She is the queen of leash walking. She is gentle on the leash, does not pull, and can walk forever without getting tired. She doesn’t bother bikers, joggers or other dogs that she sees on the trail. Even a charging dog, not on a leash, did not bother her when she was out with her foster family. Sabrina is housebroken and walks in a circle by the door when she needs to go out. She does not counter surf or beg at the table.
This sweetie is great in the car. She will look around for a few minutes and then sit down on the seat until the trip is over. She eats dry food with a little bit of wet on the top and loves rawhide bones.
Sabrina is a quiet dog who does not bark or whine. She loves to be brushed! Shortly after she arrived at the foster home, she waited patiently for two hours while a groomer cut mats out of her fur. She will sit for an hour while one gently brushes her. Sabrina does not seem too interested in Frisbee or playing ball. She’s more content to sit and be loved. She is very laid back and a great dog who would love to spend the holidays with her adopting family!
