Update 10/13/03:
Rosie is now with her new adoptive family.
Original:
Rosie is looking for a new home due to a new baby arrival and multiple demands on the household. She is an active girl who loves attention and will let you pet and love on her all day long.
Rosie loves her people, but it is reported that she is not good with toddlers. She does fine with the children she has met that have been over 5 years old. She has never bitten but was nervous when a crawling toddler came towards her and she seemed trapped on her bed and snapped at the child.
Rosie is good with other dogs but has no experience with cats. She has no formal obedience but knows sit, stay, and come. She is good for a home grooming including bath, nails brushing and ear cleaning. She is good on the leash and is a minimal puller. She will respond to a firm come when off leash. Rosie is not food protective but may be protective of her bones. It is reported that she is submissive to humans and the other dog in the household. She will let the other dog have all of the toys. She is housetrained and crate-trained.
Rosie loves walks, car rides, likes to watch birds in the yard and will follow you everywhere you go in the house.
Could Rosie be a new addition to your home?
