Original: “While he does love the water and runs with his foster brother, he is equally content to sleep around the house all day.”
Romeo’s Pennsylvania owner had to relinquish this beautiful boy due to health issues; she misses him and his daily greetings, and he misses her attention. But, he will find a wonderful new home by becoming a MAESSR boy.
Romeo has enjoyed a caring home and is housetrained with no bad habits. He does not guard his food, chew inappropriately, counter-surf, dig, or tear up toys. No crating for this guy–he has the full run of his foster house, but definitely prefers to be next to his person. He doesn’t leave the yard and comes when called. While he might become a little antsy and whiny when he needs to go outside, he relieves himself quickly and returns to his inside spot. Romeo enjoys a morning walk after breakfast, but does pull just a bit on the leash.
This handsome fellow is not high energy or high maintenance. While he does love the water and runs with his foster brother at the family farm, Romeo is equally content to sleep around the house all day. When on the move, he carries his stuffed animal and, at night, prefers the bed—thank you very much!
Romeo did not enjoy his trip to the vet. He did not misbehave and gave the vet no problems during his exam, but he did pant and was very nervous.
MAESSR’s new boy is a beautiful, wonderful Springer. He will be a very special dog for either a family or a single person. This love does not need to have another dog in his home—but he needs people who know he just wants to be loved. Thanksgiving is rapidly approaching—will you and Romeo be thankful that he is in your home?
