Original: Quinton was found as a stray in western Virginia. He was at the shelter for a while because he was not described as a springer and his picture did not look a lot like a springer. When he got to his foster home, he got the first haircut of his life to remove the matted, dead, stained hair. After his haircut, his foster parents could see what a handsome tri-boy he really is. Quinton was very good for the entire haircut, except around his ears. He even allowed his foster mom to trim the hair between the pads on his feet.
Quinton is just amazing. He can jump into the back of a pickup truck with the tailgate up without it being an effort. It is obvious from this skill that he has ridden quite often in the back of a truck. Quinton adores going for a ride. His foster family has to sneak out of the house to go to work because he tries to go with them! Quinton is totally house trained and can often be found curled up in the foster parent’s bed. He will get down when told to, but really prefers the comfort of the bed. Quinton has excellent house manners. Quinton will go in a crate, but he prefers to be loose.
The only negative Quinton’s foster mom can find with Quinton is that he does not like to have the medicine put in his ears for the ear infection. She has to muzzle him for this activity. She believes that the ears are just so sore and it really hurts so that is why he keeps telling her no.
If you are looking for a wonderful companion to sleep with and to take for rides, Quinton is your boy.
