Packey is a 4-year-old liver and white male that is looking for a new home due to his owners not having the time to give him the appropriate time and exercise that he needs. He is very active and needs lots of activity to keep him busy. He has been spending a lot of time in the garage lately, and his family knows that it is not fair to Packey. He loves to be with his people.
Packey is a sweet boy who loves life and lives it to the fullest. He lives on the lake now and takes every opportunity to get out the front door and take a nice long swim. The problem is he won’t come back until he is ready. There may be some ducks out there for him to swim for and that is just too much fun. He is used to a fenced yard and loves to run and run. If he escapes from another door besides the fenced side he will take a tour of the neighbors yards and won’t return until he is ready.
Packey is up-to-date on vaccines, neutered, and heartworm negative. He is house broken and was crate-trained although he has not been in a crate in quite some time. He is great with children and lives with a 9-year-old and a 3 year-old. He is good with other dogs although he wants to be top dog and lives with 2 cats who he basically ignores but will chase sometimes. He rides well in the car and is good at the groomer. He will pull on the leash, and they have been using a prong collar that has been working well.
Packey likes plastic toys and can catch a Frisbee on the fly. You may even catch him not looking like himself sometimes while the children dress him up in silly clothes. He has been known to get in the garbage and will make a nest in your nicely made bed to sleep. He does however know what a dog bed is and will use it.
Is Packey the fun loving boy for you?
