Oscar came into rescue as an owner surrender. The owner was an elderly man who went into assisted living and had to give up his dog. Oscar was very depressed when he came to his foster home. But, this loving dog has come around and learned to enjoy everyone. He is close to being the perfect dog.
He gets along with all other dogs, loves children, and tolerates cats very well. He is very well housebroken. He is not real active because of his age, but is not on any medications. Oscar is so well behaved that his foster family has not put him into a crate. He sleeps on a bed that he shares with a senior basset. Oscar is a good rider. His favorite activity is just being with his people. He is such a gentleman that “sit” gets him through everything.
He has a little wiggle butt and is an excellent companion. His foster mom knows whomever adopts him will be getting a gem and perfect companion.
