Odee is a real cuddler and will cuddle with people at every opportunity. He has lived with and loved children of all ages, including a toddler. He gets along well with the multitude of springers in his foster home. It is unknown how Odee would be with cats, but his foster mom is guessing he would chase them.
Odee is perfectly housebroken and has wonderful household manners. He will settle on furniture, but gets off when instructed. He sleeps on a dog bed beside his foster parents’ bed and is ok with that, but he would really like the opportunity to get into the bed so he could be closer to his people.
This fellow loves to walk. When ready to go for an outing, one can say to Odee, “Where is your leash?” and he will find it and bring it to you. He knows the “sit,” “stay.” and “roll over” commands. He loves to be brushed and behaves very well even when getting the hair between his pads trimmed and his nails done. Odee is already microchipped, so all his new owner will have to do is update the registration information.
Odee came into rescue due to a change in the living arrangements of his current family. They really would have liked to keep him, but felt that in the long run, it would not be fair to Odee.
He needs a new family to be close to and love. Would you like to cuddle with Odee?
