Noel was in a shelter in Georgia about ready to be put down when a volunteer pulled her and fostered her until she went to her MAESSR foster family in Virginia. She had an upper respiratory infection which has been successfully treated.
This petite, well-behaved Springer has a very calm demeanor and she loves people. She is basically housetrained, knowing that she should go outside to relieve herself, but occasionally she does not signal that she needs to go out. Her foster parents let her out on a regular basis to avoid any problems.
Crate trained, Noel spends her nights there and also when her foster parents are out during short periods of the day. She loves to go on car rides, likes walks, and behaves well on a leash. She is learning to sit before being served her food. Since Noel is just a year old, her forever family will be required to take her for obedience training.
Noel loves people and wants to be with them. She likes to play fetch with small toys, but doesn’t know what to do with a ball, which may seem to be too large for her. She also likes to interact and play with the other Springer Spaniel in the house. Although she can get excited when she plays with other dogs and her foster family, Noel is generally low key.
If you do not want a high energy dog, but still like to take walks and interact regularly with your dog, Noel could be the Springer for you!
