Mosby is a 9-month-old liver and white Springer looking for a new home that understands the energy level of a young Springer. He is a very sweet young boy who has to be chewing on something all of the time, therefore he is given lots of chew bones. He is very active and needs more exercise that his owners were able to give.
Mosby is neutered, up to date on vaccines and on heartworm preventative. He lives with an 11-year-old and a 16-year-old. He would probably knock down small children due to his size and zest for fun. Mosby loves to be with other dogs. He had a blast in his obedience class where he was named class clown. He has had no experience with cats. He is crate-trained and sleeps there at night and always rides in one in the car. Mosby has not been to the groomer but is great for a home bath. He is good on leash but off leash he may or may not listen.
Mosby is very affectionate and loves stuffed toys although they may be gone in minutes. He loves anything to chew on. He knows about getting his feet wiped when it is raining and tolerates this very well and may even hold them up for you to wipe.
Are you looking for a sweet energetic boy to fall in love with?

Mosby found his forever home!
Update 6/24/2003:
Update from Mosby’s adoptive home:
Well,we have had Mosby for about three weeks now! I am now down to one dish towel, the girls have lost about 10 stuffed animals, cant say how many times we’ve have wiped his feet from the rain, and how many shoe laces we have had to replace!!! What can I say of all this? WE LOVE THIS DOG!! Thank you to Mid Atlantic English Springer Rescue for sending Mosby to us, as well as the owners who surrendered him!
Despite Mosby’s high energy level, and love for mischief, he is the sweetest dog ever, who loves people, playing, and lots of kisses!!! We are so proud and thrilled to have him as a part of our family and promise to love him always! (despite the fact that I have nothing to dry my dishes with, LOL). We will be soon sending pictures of Mosby to you all to show his progress and life in his new home! You all do a wonderful job! Keep it up.
