When a box of three puppies was found at the stairs of a West Virginia church, these ten week old, abandoned babies were first taken to a shelter where the staff quickly contacted MAESSR to foster them and find wonderful homes for them. Now Molly, Maggie, and Missy are MAESSR girls!
These little bundles of puppy sweetness are doing well in foster care. They are not quite housetrained, but their foster mom is working on this with them. When she is out of the house, the trio happily piles into the crate together to sleep and play. Distinct personalities are surfacing to the delight of their foster mom.
Molly is the ring leader of the crew and likes to boss her sisters around. This outgoing pup is not timid and she is typically the source of the fuss if there is one. The biggest of the three, Molly is always the first to grab a toy and is the first one out the door. Despite her rambunctiousness and aplomb, Molly also seems to be the biggest baby of them all, whining the loudest on the trip to the vet when in the carrier and running the fastest as a big dog came within about 20 feet of the crew. She is also a sweetie who loves attention and being with people.
If you are thinking of adopting Molly or one of her sisters, please note that MAESSR only places puppies in homes that are committed to training and bonding with the pup in obedience classes. Puppies require a lot of care, attention, and patience, and they do chew on things! The decision to get a puppy and raise it to be a healthy, happy, and well-adjusted dog is a serious commitment. To reinforce this commitment, MAESSR requires all adopters of dogs under 1 year old to enroll their puppy in an obedience class within 60 days of adoption.
