Mocha was just a MAESSR girl for three months before losing her battle with mammary cancer. She fought it for as long as she could but then her foster parents knew it was time for her to cross over the Bridge. They were with her as she passed, loving on her until the end.
Dogs live in the present and for each of those three months, Mocha happily experienced the love, attention, and care of her foster parents. This sweet old girl quickly won their hearts and they really miss her. Her foster parents wish that they had been allotted more time with Mocha.
Run free, sweet girl!
Original: “As long as she is enjoying life and relatively pain free, she will be loved and spoiled.”
Mocha came to MAESSR after her Virginia family had moved to a place where they could not have her. MAESSR agreed to take her into our program.
When Mocha went to the vet it was determined that she had advanced mammary cancer. After consulting with the vet and evaluating her overall health, it was determined that there was not anything that could be done for Mocha. Her foster mom has offered to keep her until the end. As long as she is enjoying life and relatively pain free, she will be loved and spoiled.
Mocha is a very sweet girl that loves all of the attention she is receiving.
