Millie is a truly springy springer pup. She came into foster care from a very loving family who had worked with a specialist to solve her one medical issue. Due to a very small bladder since birth, it was decided that a home with a doggie door would be a necessity and there was no way to install one in her original home. Fortunately, a foster home with one was available.
Millie is a very typical youngster. She is a chewer but that is to be expected with a puppy. So far, a shoe and yarn are part of the assorted casualties. She loves a game of chase and her toys. She loves to play ball, Frisbee and fetch. To say it is like having a 2-year-old child in the house is an understatement.
Millie is not housebroken but tries to make it outside. She has learned to use her doggie door and does well in her crate. She manages to go from 9 PM to around 5 AM without any accidents. She does jump and is trying to learn to contain her enthusiasm when greeting people. She needs to learn to be a little less eager when on leash, too, and loves to ride in the car. She gets along well with the other 4 dogs in her new home who let her know when she gets to be a pain.
Millie will make a wonderful addition to her new home and will make a great dog once she outgrows her puppiness.
