When Max came into MAESSR’s care, it was clear he wasn’t well. He went quickly to his foster family’s vet for an exam. The diagnosis of advanced congestive heart failure explained much. At the same time, this limited options for helping him to providing for his comfort above all else. When that was no longer doable, he passed quietly to the Bridge.
