Mandy is housebroken, good with children, dog, and cats. She was turned in because she is too active, a typical complaint with Springers. Mandy is hesitant around strangers, and will bark loudly at them. However, once you introduce yourself to her, she’s as happy as can be. Mandy loves to play with balls and toys. She is absolutely terrified of the kennel or a crate. At the shelter they were keeping her in the director’s office or the lounge. When left alone in the room at night, she doesn’t even go near a full trash can or chew on any of the furniture. Mandy is very well-behaved. Mandy did not come with any vet records. The shelter gave her a distemper and Bordatella shot. She is now in foster care and we will update all of her shots, gets some pictures and post more information.
Sadly, Mandy did not live up to expectations. She was unpredictable, aggressive and completely untrustworthy. We could not be sure that she wouldn’t become very violent and attack someone. We made the difficult decision to put Mandy down.
