Original: Luke is a good boy who came into MAESSR foster care after being found dumpster diving. Frightened of everything he saw at first, he has really come out of his shell and is quite a sweet boy.
Luke likes other dogs and is quite submissive. The other dog in his foster home tries to push him around. He lets her – to a certain extent. He’s easy going but won’t let her beat him up. There is a cat in the house. Luke does want to chase her and is very animated when he sees her. Luke is no dummy though. If the cat swipes at him, he backs down and leaves her alone.
Luke has a full tail – an extra bonus! He has a slight limp on the front left leg that makes his gait somewhat uneven. When he runs, he looks fine, however. He also has “Wet Mouth”.
At heart, Luke is a very sweet dog who just wants affection and of course food!
Luke can be placed in a home with dogs, dog-savvy cats and older kids. We don’t know how he is with very young kids which is our only reservation in placing him.
