Lucky recently moved here from North Dakota with his mom. His aunt thought that Lucky and her dog would get along great together, but no way! The other dog did not like Lucky one bit! He would pick fights with Lucky. After a few visits to the vet, Lucky was down on his luck and had to go!
Lucky is housebroken, does not dig or chew. He will sit and stare if allowed around the kitchen table. He has lived with a cat and children as young as five. He still jumps on people when he first greets them. He will bark at strangers through the window and other dogs. He likes other dogs, if they like him.
Lucky is described as a very loving dog and enjoys playing ball and swimming.
He used to live on a farm and was not obedience trained. Lucky would benefit from an obedience course. He pulls on the leash when walked and does not know the basics.
Lucky is currently being kenneled because MAESSR does not have a foster home available. The person who transported Lucky said that he was a very good boy and a joy to be around.
