Lucky spent his entire life with his owner in North Carolina. Sadly, good fortune ran out for both as his owner became ill and Lucky suddenly began going blind. Lucky’s owner was unable to care for him because of her own health issues and she was contemplating putting Lucky down since he had not adjusted well to his blindness; however, the owner’s daughter reached out to MAESSR to give this boy another chance.
Moving from the home he had always known proved overwhelming for Lucky. In addition, his foster parents and their vet found him to have additional serious health problems. With all of this considered, they felt the kindest thing they could do for this sweet senior was to help him pass to the Bridge. He will be waiting there for his beloved owner.
