Before Miss Annie came to MAESSR, she had been running loose for some time before an animal control officer in Kentucky picked her up. When she arrived at her foster home, she was underweight and clearly expecting. Her foster family set about putting weight on her and began the waiting game. A few weeks later, Annie whelped 8 beautiful puppies, including 6 females and 2 males. Miraculously all were healthy. Annie proved to be a wonderful, loving momma dog and her family thrived. Little Linda is one of her litter.
Linda and her siblings are now weaned, ankle-biting size and run around all the time. Their momma is a live wire and the puppies are little clones of her. All are outgoing cuties who are very active like Annie.
Babies like Linda are cute bundles of joy and ENERGY! Families who adopt must commit to the training and exercising that comes with owning a Springer pup. Puppies require a lot of care, attention, and patience, and they do chew on things! The decision to get a puppy and raise it to be a healthy, happy, and well-adjusted dog is a serious undertaking.
For those interested in adopting Linda, be aware that MAESSR only places puppies in homes that are committed to training and bonding with the pup in obedience classes. To reinforce this commitment, MAESSR requires all adopters of dogs under 1 year old to enroll their puppy in an obedience class within 60 days of adoption.
Linda has had a great start and is ready to kiss, cuddle and grow up in a springer-loving home. She deserves the best and, in turn, will give her best to one very lucky family!
