From puppyhood, Lily had lived with her North Carolina family that included a couple of children. While she was always anxious around children, she was fine with her own kids. When the family had company and she was nervous, Lily enjoyed her own space in a very nice sized fenced yard. But, when her folks moved to a new home with a small non-fenced yard, Lily was not getting as much exercise and had no safe outdoor spot when the children had friends visiting. A recent incident made the family realize that their current situation was not fair to either Lily or their children; they made the reluctant decision to ask MAESSR to find Lily a home where no young children live or visit.
Miss Lil is housetrained and, although she was crate trained as a puppy, she has not used one since that time and shows no anxiety over being left alone. She knows “sit” and “come” and just pulls a little when out on her leash. Ball playing is great fun for her, and she is also very good at letting her folks know when someone is at “her” door. This young lady showed no issues at the groomers, is fine in the car, and not bothered by such silly things as thunderstorms.
Lily is a very sweet girl that loves attention and likes to be with her people. She will be looking for a calm home with a nice yard for playing fetch and good adult company.
It’s summertime and the livin’ will be easy with sweet Lily.
