Update 04/19/08:
Levi made a move to a new foster home. He has fit right in and takes all the doggie antics of the resident and other foster dogs there in stride. He loves to be cuddled and, anytime you lower your hands, you find Levi quickly fills them. He comes from where ever he is in the yard when his foster mom bends down to pet a dog and quickly worms his way in with a quiet manner.
Kennel cough broke in Levi this week. His foster mom is monitoring him to ensure that he is drinking plenty of fluids and eating to fight off this little bug. He is doing well and, as you can see in his pictures, Levi loves water so getting him to drink is quite easy. Levi is quiet in his crate and sleeps there at night. He is quiet when out in the yard and in the house, unless he hears an intruder, be it a dog on the other side of the fence that is barking or a strange person approaching the house.
Levi has met a couple of toddlers and was very uncomfortable around them. He simply preferred to either go away from them or he tried to hide. He was great when playing and romping around the yard with a dog-savvy 7-year-old in his first foster home, so he will do best with children this age or older. Levi also met a cat from afar and growled at the kitty, so a home with no cats is a must for this boy.
One of the most endearing things about Levi is that his pout puts a smile on everyone’s face when they meet him. He’s so cute and so cuddly that he is just adorable to all. Are you looking for a quiet, cuddly boy to keep you company and who will devote his life to you? If so, Levi is all that and much more!
Original:
Levi came to MAESSR from Kentucky with his brother, Jasper. They were relinquished to a shelter there because the family could no longer afford them.
Levi has the most wonderful Springer personality. His only weakness is that he is a little shy upon meeting you. Once he knows you, he is stuck to you like glue. Levi has a major underbite that makes him appear to always be pouting. He was born this way and it does not appear to cause him any discomfort. Levi is housetrained and loves to ride in the car. He does get on furniture and will counter surf if given the opportunity; however, he responds well to correction. All in all, Levi is a major snuggle bunny. Levi went to the groomers and did wonderfully. Levi’s foster mom cannot think of anything negative to say about this wonderful Springer boy.
Do you want a want a fantastic Springer boy in your life?
