Despite our best intentions, sometimes our placements don’t work out. In this case, it was not Lauren’s fault. The family that adopted her simply does not have time for her. She needs and wants a family that wants to walk her, play with her and love her. MAESSR took her back into foster care.
Lauren is a very sweet girl. She loves people and older kids. She has never been around very young children to our knowledge. She enjoys her foster “brother” Boo-Boo even is she bosses him around a little.
Lauren would do best in a home where she isn’t alone all day though she can be left alone safely in a crate.
Lauren has experienced some hearing loss, but it is quite minor. It in no way impedes her ability to interact normally within a family.
Lauren has met one cat, and we think she was a bit too excitable. She might not hurt a cat, but she might worry it to distraction. We recommend a no-cat household.
