Kenai is a 5.5-year-old female spayed liver and white Springer. She is not getting the attention she needs in her present home, and there is a new baby on the way. Kenai comes from a long line of field Spaniels but has never done any hunting in her life. She has led quite the pampered life. She is AKC-registered, current with vaccinations, on heartworm preventative and flea prevention. She has had no aggressive behavior and is house broken. It is reported that she will sometimes try to counter surf and has very high energy so she may knock over small children but does well with older children. She is good with other dogs as she lives with a senior Golden Retriever and unknown how she would do with cats. She will bark at cats. 

Kenai is very loyal and loving and loves to be with you on your lap. She doesn’t jump up even though she is high energy. She loves to go hiking and has done so a lot in her lifetime. It is reported that she will pull hard on the leash and has been walked with a spike collar before. She notices the birds outside and will bark at the squirrels. She will sit, shake and down on command.
