Original: “Kane came into his foster home as a basic novice to the world of in-home living.”
Sometimes when a person gets a Springer puppy, he or she underestimates the amount of time and commitment it takes to nurture the pup to be a happy, trained, well-socialized adult. When Kane’s Virginia owner realized he did not have enough time for a baby Springer, he contacted MAESSR to find his lively young boy the right forever home.
Kane came into his foster home as a basic novice to the world of in-home living. The other dogs in his foster home have taught him many great things that big dogs do. He has learned that he wants to be with people all the time. He has learned how to play with toys. He has learned how much fun a good game of chase can be. And, he also learned that his old foster sister can be a little mean if you get too close!
Since Kane is a blank slate as far as training, some lucky person is going to have so much fun teaching him how to be a well-socialized boy. Please note that MAESSR only places puppies in homes that are committed to training and bonding with the pup in obedience classes. Puppies require a lot of care, attention, and patience, and they do chew on things! The decision to get a puppy and raise it to be a healthy, happy, and well-adjusted dog is a serious commitment. To reinforce this commitment, MAESSR requires all adopters of dogs 1 year and younger to enroll their puppy in obedience classes within 60 days of adoption. Kane is a smart pup and he will quickly learn the commands that will help him be a safe and cooperative companion.
Kane is about as sweet and soft a personality as you could ask for in a gorgeous Springer puppy. He is smart, very willing to please, goofy, and most of all loving. You cannot ask for more in a wonderful Springer boy.
