Jordan was turned into a shelter as a stray. He is 38lbs and between 2-3 years old. He is being treated for parasites but, other than that, he is in excellent health.
Jordan’s foster family has 3 children (9, 7 and 4) and he is doing great with them. He is also living with another dog and gets along well with him. Jordan was introduced to a cat, and they sniffed each other nose to nose. He did not attempt to bite but did want to follow the cat around. Jordan has found a bond with his foster mother, and he follows her around everywhere.
Jordan knows how to sit down and will sit for dinner and treats. He does need to work on the stay command. Be careful of open doors – he is ready to follow! He doesn’t jump the baby gate. Jordan is doing very well as house dog, but must go out after play, sleep and food. Jordan is not leash-trained, but is learning. He would definately benefit from an obedience class.
Jordan is an absolute love bug and just adores people. He will lean against you for love. He will stay at your feet and if encouraged even slightly, will be up in your lap. He has tried to jump on the sofa and bed but will get down with a gentle push and command. He loves the comfort of a warm blanket on his basket. Jordan is crated at night and for brief periods while his foster family is out. He does bark quite a bit and will settle down with firmness.
Jordan’s foster mother describes him as “Jordan will work his way into your heart very quickly as he has ours. He has a lovely gentle nature with a lot of puppy in him. He will be a welcome addition to any family with love to give back”.
Can you share the love he has to give with you and you with him?
Update:
Jordan found a family to share his love with!
