Jordan was pulled from the Anne Arundel SPCA. He was turned in because he was not good with other dogs after vigorous exercise. This could mean one of two things. He may get cranky when he’s tired or he may not know how to control himself when play with other dogs gets rough. Suffice it to say, we would prefer to place him in an only dog home. We will see how this works out after he’s been in foster care for a while.
Overall, Jordan is a very sweet friendly dog. You can handle his feet, teeth and ears with no complaint. He loves everyone he meets. During transport, he saw a baby in a parking lot. He got very excited, started wagging his tail and woofing to her. The turn in sheet from the shelter says that he is very good with children and lived with a 17-month-old.
Jordan knows sit, shake, lay down and speak. He also loves to play fetch and enjoys walks in the woods. He doesn’t pull too bad on the leash but would do well in an obedience class. He’s a little pudgy and will be going on a diet. All in all, this is a sweet wonderful dog who would be a great addition to anyone’s home.
Update:
Jordan is getting along well with the other dogs in his foster home – no signs of aggression. He is doing great in foster care. We think he would do well with an obedience class – but other than that – no complaints.
