Jody is a handsome boy with beautiful Springer markings and intense, expressive eyes. He knows sit, stay and come. He is crate trained and micro-chipped. No accidents in the house and he has a way of herding you to the door when he needs to go out. He loves to go on long walks and is wonderful on the leash (no pulling or dragging you along). He enjoys riding in the car and is a good traveler.
Jody does not counter surf or beg but it is best to keep people food out of reach. Jody is always ready for a good brushing and likes to have his back scratched. He has even found a way to scratch the spots you miss by lying on his back and wiggling from side to side on the carpet.
Jody can be little protective of his house. After a slow introduction, Jody warms up and is ready for a little attention from anyone who will pet, rub or scratch his tummy. Other dogs and small children may be a problem for Jody but an additional update will follow after an appropriate evaluation.
Being close to his humans makes Jody happy. The closer the better. Is Jody the companion you have been looking for?
