Update 01/22/2025: “He had three years of a great life as a permanent foster thanks to MAESSR.”
Jingles was his foster mom’s constant shadow. He had to always be within two to three feet of her. An honorary Springer, this sweet Cocker boy was so lucky to have come to MAESSR. He had three years of a great life as a permanent foster thanks to MAESSR.
His foster family misses him so much. Run free, Jingles! You are loved.
Original: “He is low key and easy to walk. And, most of all, he is a loving, affectionate senior!”
Jingles was found as a stray in Maryland right before Christmas in 2021, although the shelter strongly suspects that his “finder” was actually his owner turning him in. Despite his not being a Springer, MAESSR has a soft spot for Cockers. So, Jingles became a MAESSR boy.
This sweet older gentleman settled into his foster home seamlessly. The shelter had neutered him and brought him up-to-date on his vaccinations. His foster mom thought he would be a prime candidate for the status of permanent foster. Now he will remain in his loving foster home for the rest of his life. Jingles certainly won the lottery!
Jingles is not bothered by the pack of resident and foster dogs in his foster home. He is low key and easy to walk. And, most of all, he is a loving, affectionate senior!
