Original: Jill and her brother, Jack, were found wandering around in eastern Virginia without collars. They were taken to a local shelter and efforts were made to find their owners. That effort failed and MAESSR was asked to take these two sweeties. These are dogs that were obviously loved and cared for by someone. When Jill visited the vet with her foster mom, she got a clean bill of health, very nice news for any gal!!
Jill is crate trained, knows some basic commands such as “sit”, “down”, and “stay”, will counter surf if given the opportunity, and rides well in the car. She absolutely adores children, including the 5-year-old in her foster home. She is housebroken and will get on furniture. Jill is more timid than her brother but warms up quickly.
