Jessie is a sweet girl. She has her pedigree papers. She was whelped in 1994, yet acts like a two-year-old dog. Jessie spent the first part of her life in a loving home. Due to an illness in the family, she had to be given up so a family with more time to devote to her could love her. She loves to play catch with her toys and run.
She is very timid at first and is anxious about being left, but she does listen well. When she cocks her head, it is in the cutest position when you talk to her. She will stay off the furniture and wait to be invited up. She will go in the crate and settles easily. She gets in the car easily but seems anxious that she is being taken somewhere again. Jessie is liver and white and is currently shaven down but has a beautiful face and great markings. Without the typical Springer skirt, you can see the power behind her long legs when she gets to run.
Jessie has been walking well on the leash with the training collar. She is learning to sit and stay when someone comes to the door. She is learning that the water in the dog dishes is the best to drink. She has spent time with a five-year-old and seems good around him.
Jessie really wants love and attention. She follows her foster Mom everywhere. She needs a home where people can spend quality time with her and reassure her she is in her forever home. Jessie will make someone a wonderful companion.
