Jerry was surrendered to a Pennsylvania shelter by his owner who was too ill to provide care for him. MAESSR then was contacted and a new life has begun for the handsome Springer.
A calm gentleman, Jerry is enjoying a happy repose with his foster family. He has very good manners and understands the sit and stay commands. He prefers car rides to walks and settles nicely in the car. Since he is overweight, his foster family is introducing short walks to ease his transition from being a sitter to a being a walker. In just a short time, Jerry has made great progress in his confidence when out walking, so his daily walks are becoming an anticipated part of his routine.
Jerry’s recent visit with the groomer transformed him into cover page material! What a handsome guy and what a good boy. The groomers described him as an angel. How about that for a good report! A Velcro boy, Jerry stays near his foster family in the home, but he is venturing over to the toy box and beginning to play with squeaky toys. As he becomes more and more comfortable in his surroundings, he sounds a warning bark when an outside sound concerns him.
Jerry is going to bond easily to a loving, new family.
