Jerry is a young male pulled from a Shelter in Virginia. He was owned by an 80 year old, who not surprisingly, found this boy to be too much for him!!
Jerry is housebroken, but has marked a few times. A quick verbal correction stopped that behavior. He would love to be the head dog in the household. However, if the alpha dog says otherwise, Jerry backs down. He would not do well in a house with a really submissive dog.
When he is out of his crate, Jerry is fine with cats. He smells them and watches them. However, when he is crate, he goes nuts, barking, lunging and biting at his crate. He can be placed in a home with a cat. If Jerry is going to be crated at night, cats can’t be allowed to walk by as he will wake up the entire house.
Jerry loves to be loved on and has the sweetest expression on his face. His foster mom’s son came home and was greeted as warmly as her husband. They did disagree on the way home about who does the driving. He finally acknowledged that he didn’t have a license and say nicely. He does walk on a leash okay, he doesn’t pull but will wrap himself around you. He would do very well in an obedience class.
