Update 03/27/08:
Jake had lived three years of his life tied to a chain. He came in to the shelter with two other dogs from the same place. The other two had to be put down immediately due to severe aggression. MAESSR decided to try to give Jake a chance at living a normal life. Unfortunately, too much damage had been done and Jake was sent to the Rainbow Bridge where he will never have to live tied to a chain again.
