Jack was transported to his foster home on a Saturday afternoon. He passed away in his sleep the following morning. Through intake information and upon meeting him, it was clear Jack was very overweight and had other health issues, but no one thought he was going to die.
Jack had lived for 9 years outside on a chain during the day and in a crate in a garage at night. He, at least, got to die in a home, in the hands of compassionate people who were committed to his care. This was the first foster dog that Jack’s family had ever had, so it was a very sad way to start off.
For the sake of the many “Jacks” in need, keep hope that this foster family will begin again. And for Jack – run free, sweet boy
